Quartz: discovered. Quartz is used in fabricating basic survival equipment, and long-term habitats.

Quartz is a raw material found on the seabed of many Biomes and in some Caves.

Description

Quartz used to be available on the surface of the Safe Shallows biome, sometimes hidden in the grass and easier to spot a night. But since Oct. 2017 it can only be found in this biome in the caves. (In other biomes it is still available on the surface.)

Quartz can be found as a large resource deposit.
