Titanium: discovered. Titanium is a versatile and essential construction material.
― PDA, Dialogue

Titanium is a raw material that is used to craft almost all Alterra technology.
It can be found in limestone, crafted from metal salvage, or obtained by scanning already acquired fragments with the Scanner. As a result, it is the most common mineral in the game.
Titanium can be found as a large resource deposit.
