They are commonly found in the Safe Shallows and Mountains biome. They can be seen on Reefbacks since the Bones Update. Strangely, the Spotted Reeds found on Reefbacks can be picked up, Spotted Reeds found growing on the sea floor cannot be picked up under normal circumstances.

Appearance

Spotted Reeds come in groups consisting of several broad, pointed blades of grass varying in size. The blades are light green in color on the edge which gradually turns brown toward its center and base, with white dots speckled along a line in the middle of each blade.
