The Garryfish is a passive life form belonging to the fauna category. It is usually found in the Safe Shallows and around the Underwater Islands.
Although cooked Garryfish yields average food points, the living creature moves fairly slow, making them easy to catch. For this reason, it's one of the more useful nourishment for players in the survival mode.
Garryfishes are diurnal, so they are even easier to catch at night because of their already low speed.
Appearance
The Garryfish has a long, slim, yellow body with brighter yellow vertical stripes. Its tail comprises most of its length. Its body mass is concentrated on the front.
It has a small mouth and stalked eyes situated on top of its head. The caudal fins are much smaller in comparison with the pectoral fins, and all of the fins have a maroon hue with a dull red bioluminescent glow.
Behavior
The Garyfish is a type of solitary prey, and is mostly seen gliding slowly and aimlessly within its vicinity. It also ignores the player completely.
