They are commonly found in the Safe Shallows and Mountains biome. They can be seen on Reefbacks since the Bones Update. Strangely, they can also only be picked up from a Reefback, no where else.

Appearance

Spotted Reeds come in groups consisting of several broad, pointed blades of grass varying in size. The blades are light green in color on the edge which gradually turns brown toward its center and base, with white dots speckled along a line in the middle of each blade.
