Salt Deposits be found on the seabed in many biomes, such as Safe Shallows. They can commonly be found near acid mushrooms and look like small white cube-shaped crystals.
Salt is essential for crafting food and H2O (Water). Thus, it is most important in the survival mode of Subnautica.
