Its wreckage is broken into two three sections, with the larger of the three ending up in the Lilypad Islands, and the other on the edge of the Purple Vents and Tree Spires. The third one ending up in the Purple Vents over a crevasse. A Laser Cutter is needed to explore most of the crashed ship rooms, as well as Propulsion Cannon for an optional room in each segment. Squidsharks can be found roaming the areas, potentially attacking the player.

Story

According to the Favro boards, The ship is intended to be somewhere between 30 to 100 years old to support the immense amount of rusting and vegetation.^[1]

A piece of salvaged tech which is needed to repair Radio Tower 7, allowing Robin to re-establish communication with the Vesper.

Ship crew log PDAs can be found inside all segments of the wreckage. Currently, they have no text.

Thrusters Side Wreck (crashedship1)

The thrusters part of the crashed ship can be found on the depth of 100m at the edge of the Purple Vents and Tree Spires, just east by southeast of the Rocket Island. A Laser Cutter is needed to explore most of the crashed ship rooms. Spinefishes can be found here.

You can find 2 Power Cells, 3 Batteries, 2 Disinfected Water and 2 Nutrient Blocks in supply crates scattered inside the wreckage.

Unique Loot

At the engine room, the Ship Wreck Salvage can be found. A Laser Cutter is needed in order to access the room, as well to extract the salvage itself. There is also the ship crew log 1 PDA in this room.

Ship Crew Log 2 Room

A Reactor Rod inside a sealed supply crate and the ship crew log 2 PDA can both be found in a room blocked by debris that can be pulled away using the Propulsion Cannon.

Password Room

A built Seatruck Horsepower Upgrade can be found inside a door locked by a password.

Front Side Wreck (crashedship2)

The front side part of the ship can be found on the depth of 250m in the Lilypad Islands, in an area surrounded by Squidsharks. Plenty of Red Feather Fishes can be found inside, as well as Bloodroots.

Five Reactor Rods can be found in sealed supply crates scattered in the wreck. One is close to a rusted Nuclear Reactor, a second is in a room blocked by debris that can be removed with a Propulsion Cannon. Three more are inside another open room with 2 rectangular exits and a hole at the floor leading to the dormitory rooms and the cafeteria. You can also find 2 Power Cells and 1 Battery inside supply crates scattered inside the ship.

Ship Crew Log 4 Room

Ship crew log 4 can be found in an isolate room, located at a higher floor that can be accessed by a staircase.

Alien Containment Room

This room has three sealed doors leading to other areas, the command room, and the ship crew log 8, located close to the old Alien Containment.

Command Room

The coomand room can be seem from the very front of the ship wreck outside, identified by a large glass. Inside, the ship crew log 9 can be found.

Dormitories and The Cafeteria

This area can be accessed from the Alien Containment Room by a sealed door. The dormitory rooms are empty for now.

In the cafeteria area, you can find the ship crew log 5, 3 pairs of Disinfected Water and Nutrient Blocks in supply crates, a pocket of breahtable air at the top and a ventilation pipe with a dead end in the cafeteria. There is also a natural tunnel connected by two holes on the floor in this area.

Ship Crew Log 7 Sealed Room

This room can also be accessed from the alien containment room by a sealed door. Ship crew log 7 can be found lying on the ground just past the sealed door. Besides the PDA, there is only a ventilation tube with a dead end.

Segment 3

The segment 3 is the smallest, a detached pair of thrusters. It's located stuck in a crevasse at the edge of Purple Vents and Lilypad Islands, at 150m depth. There is an Architect Artifact close to it, and the Deep Purple Vents just below, with a tunnel leading straight to Crystal Caves.

The segment has just two rooms. You can find a Seatruck Afterburner Upgrade in the main room, and a Ship Wreck Salvage past a small sealed door.

Trivia

The third section, referred to as the "engine nacelle" was removed some time after its introduction due to another level designer's work overwriting the wreck's addition. It has since been added back.
There is currently a fourth segment located in between the Thermal Spires and Arctic Kelp Forest. It currently uses a placeholder model, with an unknown purpose.
