Eggs are the unhatched forms of certain types of fauna. They can be used for research which will allow the player to create more advanced objects, such as Upgrades. Eggs are currently still in development.

Eggs usually are considered to be belonging to an unidentified fauna until they are analyzed using the Specimen Analyzer. An Egg of a given type can currently belong to up to two different species.

After an egg is analyzed, you can put it inside a Large Aquarium. The egg will take about ten in-game days to hatch. When hatched, the creature within the egg will a smaller version of its respective species.
