Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Skyray is an in-development Life Form belonging to the Fauna category. It can be found in the Safe Shallows around the Escape Pod [1][2]. In the future they will also spawn on Aurora after the Radiation has dissipated[3].

Appearance

The Skyray  is a small, bird-like creature with white skin. Feather-like, overlapping scales cover the entirety of its body. Its head, chest and wing tips are black, connected by a thin line spanning the front edge of its wings. Its tail is tipped black, along with the "feet" of its two small legs. The chest bares two blue markings and appear Bioluminescent at night. White eyes are on either side of its head and it appears to have a beak-like mouth.

Behavior

Skyrays tend to fly near the escape pod. They sometimes wander away from it, but are sent back to the escape pod with the wind.

If they are put underwater, they will fail around and eventually drown.

In the future, when Skyrays are resting they will scatter, flying away if the player gets too close [4].
