Trivia
- Track 32, is named "Exosuit" because the original name for the Prawn Suit was Exosuit, and the track had been made prior to the name change.
- In Natural Selection 2, the track Exosuit bears resemblance, during the beginning and near the end, to the Subnautica OST track Exosuit.
- This may be due to the fact that Blueprint plays in the Prawn Bay in the Aurora, and the Prawn Suit was based off of Natural Selection 2's Exosuit.
- Rock It! was originally called Void and Cuddlefish was originally called Dive Buddy.
- Ahead Slow was originally named Creepy, Finding Life was originally named Higher Levels, In Bloom was originally named Hangs, Into The Unknown was originally named Water Music Melody, and Maneuvers was named Under the Ice.
- Under the Ice was likely a reference to the Arctic Biome, which was a biome planned to be added to Subnautica before it was cut, and then repurposed into Subnautica Below Zero.
- In fact, if one edits the files to re-implement the Arctic biome, Under the Ice is one of few music tracks that will play, along with Into the Unknown.
- Under the Ice was likely a reference to the Arctic Biome, which was a biome planned to be added to Subnautica before it was cut, and then repurposed into Subnautica Below Zero.
- Ahead Slow was originally named Creepy, Finding Life was originally named Higher Levels, In Bloom was originally named Hangs, Into The Unknown was originally named Water Music Melody, and Maneuvers was named Under the Ice.
- In Alien Expanse, Donald Trump saying "China" can be heard faintly at around 1:04 and 1:18. It is possible and easier to hear the entire word at 1:18.
- This is also mentioned in the comment of the file "vocals by Donald J Trump".
- One track called Docking was used in the Coffee and Castles trailer but is not on OST or in the game.
- Docking was first used in Natural Selection II.
- There was also three other music tracks that were previously used, but scrapped for unknown reasons. These tracks were named Subnautica 01, Subnautica 02 - Spooky, and the last track currently does not have a name, although used to appear in the Lava Zone in very early versions.
- In the properties of almost every music file, in the comments there are random characters, fun sentences, possible origins of the music, and shout outs. These were probably made by Simon Chylinski.
- There is no OST for the Eye Candy trailer.
- The total play time of all combined music is 1 hour, 39 minutes, and 30 seconds.
