Signal Ping.png

Signals are pings that direct the player to important story locations. Signals can be enabled and disabled using the PDA's Ping Manager. Their colors can also be customized, like other pings.

Most Signals can be obtained from the radio. The rest are obtained from certain Data Terminals on the Aurora and Alien Bases.

Locations

The various locations the Signal directs the player to are:

  • Lifepod 2 - CTO Yu sunk 500m before abandoning the pod
  • Lifepod 3 - Crew reported their seaglide damaged
  • Lifepod 4 - Radiation suit recommended before attempting rescue/salvage
  • Lifepod 6 - Lifepod 6 - Crew requested assistance surviving radiation
  • Lifepod 7 - Aurora crewmember requested assistance
  • Lifepod 12 - Sunk beyond 250m
  • Lifepod 13 - Carrying high priority passenger's remains
  • Lifepod 17 - Crash landed near the seamoth bay, hull giving way
  • Lifepod 19 - Second Officer Keen's last broadcast location
  • Proposed Degasi Habitat (500m)
