It can be found on the seabed or unearthed by Sea Treader Leviathans. It is found in almost all biomes except for the Safe Shallows and the Kelp Forest. Shale Outcrops can contain the following:

• Gold - 30%
• Lithium - 31.5%
• Diamond - 38.5%
