The Salt Deposit is a material found on the seabed.

Salt Deposits can be found on the seabed in many biomes, such as Safe Shallows. They can commonly be found near acid mushrooms and look like small white cube-shaped crystals.

Salt is essential for crafting food and H2O (Water). Thus, it is most important in the survival mode of Subnautica.

The most plentiful locations of salt can be found in the Scrapyards near the Aurora and in deeper biomes, such as the Mushroom Forest, Grassy Plateaus, and the Koosh Zone.
