They can also be found on Reefback Leviathans. In older versions of the game, the Spotted Reeds found on Reefback Leviathans could be picked up where as ones growing on the sea floor couldn't. Spotted Reeds that had been picked up couldn't be planted or used in any way, and would appear as question marks in Ryley Robinson's inventory.

Appearance

Spotted Reeds come in groups consisting of several broad, pointed blades of grass varying in size. The blades are light green in color on the edge which gradually turns brown toward its center and base, with white dots speckled along a line in the middle of each blade.
