Lithium is a raw material found in many Biomes. Lithium can be found in single form both above and below water, as well as in shale outcrops. Lots of item form lithium can be found in the Deep Sparse Reef near Officer Keen's lifepod.
It can also be found as a large resource deposit, they are especially plentiful in the Lost River, Mountains, and the Mountain Island's caves. They can sometimes also be found in the Mushroom Forest.
Its main use is to create the high strength Lithium/Titanium alloy known as plasteel.

Lithium found in the Mushroom Forest
Trivia
- In real life, Lithium posesses a low hardness of 0.6 on Moh's scale, which would barely hold together, especially at great depths.
- Lithium is also known to react violently with water, forming lithium hydroxide and highly flammable hydrogen that often ignited with the intense heat release.
- Scientifically speaking, the lithium in subnautica could have formed an oxide layer which protected it from water.Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Dev:Navbox' not found.
