The Vehicle Modification Station is a Seabases module that allows the player to upgrade and customize the Seamoth and Prawn Suit.

Overview
It is constructed with the Habitat Builder and can only be placed inside the Moonpool. It allows the player to customize their Seamoth and Prawn Suit by renaming or customizing its color. It also displays the current Energy level of any docked vehicle.

It also includes an upgrade panel for crafting vehicle upgrades, which sits on the left-hand side of the Vehicle Modification Station. These upgrades can be applied to the Seamoth or Prawn Suit respectively. It can also craft ammunition for the Torpedo System and Prawn Suit Torpedo Arm.

The Vehicle Modification Station should not be confused with the Modification Station, as the latter upgrades Tools and Equipment, while the Vehicle Modification Station upgrades the Vehicles.
Overview
The Vehicle Upgrade Console displays the name and current Energy level of any docked vehicle. By interacting with the control panel, the player can customize the docked vehicle by renaming it or modifying its color scheme: the color picker works by having the central panel used to pick the hue and the slider to the right adjusting color saturation, with greyscale accessible at minimal saturation and other colors as it is increased.

The Vehicle Upgrade Console includes a fabricator for crafting Upgrade Modules for the Seamoth and Prawn Suit. It can also craft ammunition for the Torpedo System and Prawn Suit Torpedo Arm.

Trivia

 • The previous names for the Vehicle Upgrade Console were the Seamoth Modification Station and the Vehicle Modification Station. The former could only be used to upgrade the Seamoth: it was present in builds where the Prawn Suit did not exist yet, and upgrading the Cyclops in these builds required building a Fabricator inside it to craft its upgrades.
 • The Seamoth Depth Module MK1 can be found in the Aurora, in the Seamoth bay.
 • A storage module can be found in the P.R.A.W.N. bay in the Aurora.
