The Dunes is a biome located west from Lifepod 5, on the edge of the map, bordering one of the Grassy Plateaus, Sea Treader's Path, one of the Safe Shallows, 1st Blood Kelp Zone, one of the Mushroom Forests, an unassigned biome and the Void.

Description

The Dunes features vast, sandy plains and dunes, sometimes littered with various types of rock structures. It is also home to many dangerous types of Fauna, the most notable threat being Reaper Leviathans patrolling the open spaces of the biome.

Wreck 6 is found within the Dunes, laying on a flat sandbank. There use to be an entrance to the Inactive Lava Zone. It has recently been closed off as the developers are trying to make it harder to get to this location. You can also find an entrance to the Lost River.
