The Horseshoe Shrub is a land Flora. Shrub Nuts can be harvested from it. Currently, they can be found inside of caves on Delta Island and Marguerit's Greenhouse in the Arctic. Shrub Nuts can be planted to grow more Horseshoe Shrubs but this will only work if the grow bed is out of water. Shrub Nuts do not deteriorate and can be carried with player as free (but bulky) medkits.
As with other fruit-bearing plants in the game, the Shrub Nut will regrow one-at-a-time every 5 minutes until it is fully laden. The plant holds 10 Shrub Nuts and therefore takes 50 minutes to bear maximum fruit, granting 100hp, 150 food and 50 water per complete harvest.
As complete dehydration occurs after 33 consecutive minutes from full hydration without drinking, even three fully grown plants cannot produce enough hydration to sustain a human body by themselves.
