Lava Lakes

Template:Infobox Biome The Active Lava Zone is an in-development biome, located below the Inactive Lava Zone around 1300 to 1700 meters deep. It is presumably where the Sea Emperor will be encountered.^{[Citation needed]}

Description

The Active Lava Zone is smaller than the Inactive Lava Zone, with more volcanic activity. Lava lakes and falls are a common sight in this biome, along with obsidian pillars and volcanic rock formations. The zone is separated in three areas.

Falls

The Lava Falls can be found going from the inactive lava zone above to the main chamber below. These large pits act as entrances to the active lava zone, and can be found near the Lava Castle.

Chamber

The chamber consists of a large lava lake, with occasional lava columns.

Emperor Facility

Below the chamber is an area labelled Emperor Facility. It consists of a large open area located under the active lava zone. The deepest part of this area can only be accessed by an Exosuit equipped with a Pressure Compensator MK3.

• A Precursor Seabase will be present in this biome, as well as the Sea Emperor's "prison".
• A model of the Player can be found in the Active Lava Zone. Its use is unknown, though it may be for size reference.
