The Aerogel is a light porous dried gel with incredible heat insulation. It is a Material and crafted with the Fabricator. The crafting process for Aerogel has currently been disabled and the player must use Debug Console Commands to obtain it.

- Aerogel is a synthetic porous ultralight material derived from a gel, in which the liquid component of the gel has been replaced with a gas. Its purpose is to protect against heat and fire. It is a refractory material which can be used in linings for furnaces, kilns, incinerators and reactors.
