Biter

Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Biter is an aggressive life form that can be found around the Grassy Plateaus, Mountains, Mountain Island, in the Mountain Range Caves and the Jelly Shroom Caves.

The Biter is an extremely fast and territorial fish. It will attack without hesitation if the player gets too close. Each bite takes 7% of the player's health. The Biter can attack in shoals or by just one individual.

Appearance

The Biter is a small fish that strongly resembles a tadpole. It has two blue eyes on each side of its head, and a small mouth full of sharp yellow teeth. The Biter has no pectoral fins, possessing only dorsal and caudal fins. Its body is red on the dorsal side with a light blue underbelly. Black stripes run along the top.

It also has a short bioluminescent lure on its forehead, which is presumably used to draw in prey during the night.
