Jellyray
Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora Jellyrays are life forms belonging to the fauna category.
They can be seen roaming the Mushroom Forest, Jelly Shroom Caves and the Grand Reef. Jellyrays can be frozen with the Stasis Rifle. They do not drop anything when killed. Jellyrays are also curious of lights. If they see a light, they will investigate it.
Appearance
Jellyrays have a translucent body that seems very fragile. It has a long, thin, blue tail and six "wings" with similar properties that protrude to both of its sides. The torso itself is of a purplish hue. Jellyrays have six eyes of various sizes on each side that are running in a line down the length of its torso. Each eye is connected with the corresponding eye on the other side of the body via a pink link at the top of the torso.

Shares some evolutionary traits with the rabbit ray, including highly poisonous flesh. This species has adapted to low-light environments with a translucent, luminescent body. This may help to:
- Light up the surrounding area for foraging
- Ward away predators
- Identify the organism to others of its kind
Smaller creatures have been seen swimming in the jellyray's wake to take advantage of the light source for their own ends.
