Subnautica 2 is a game being developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment that is set some time after the events of Subnautica: Below Zero[1] and will have both singleplayer and 2-4 player co-op[2]. The game will take place on a new planet, not 4546B[3]. Gameplay and map design will features more of a focus on underwater exploration, like the original Subnautica[1]. It will be consistently updated with new content to enhance replayability, similar to a "Games-as-a-Service" model, but will have "No season passes. No battle passes. No subscription."[2].
