Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Shocker is a Life Form belonging to the Fauna category.
Shocking sounds can be heard when the Shocker shocks other life forms or the player. A Shocker's shock will damage the player by 15% health and a bite from a Shocker will damage the player by 45% health.
Appearance
The Shocker is a long, large eel-like creature that has a segmented body and is covered in electricity carrying prongs. Whilst in movement, it bends its body in a way similar to an eel and its body segments constantly rotate. It is composed of a head segment, eight body segments, and a tail segment.
Its head has six prongs, four being placed like on each body segment and two being placed at both ends of the mouth. It has bluish-green eyes that are indented into the skull, leaving a visible orbit. The two prongs protruding from the sides of its mouth do not carry electrical arcs like the other prongs do. Its mouth has many small sharp teeth and slightly visible lips. There is also a small opening above the mouth.
Each body segment has four prongs situated 90 degrees apart. The tail segment is elongated and flattened with four prongs splayed out posteriorly. The Shocker's dorsal side is a dull green with a plate-like texture. The ventral side is a light tan with red banding in between the segments. The prongs are mostly red with bright white tips.
Compared to the player, the height of the Shocker's head (excluding the prongs) is about two thirds of the player's overall height.
The blue tips on the ends of the prongs are bioluminescent, as well as the electrical arks themselves.
Behavior
When the Shocker swims around passively electrical shocks will pass down from its head towards it's tail. When approached by the player, the Shocker's entire array of electrical prongs will start carrying electrical current all at once. The Shocker will then attack with a bite or by shocking the player.
The Shocker will enter its aggressive mode when the player approaches in person, in a Seamoth or Cyclops.

- The Shocker's shock attack can damage you through the wall of a Cyclops or Seabase, but it wont perform the attack unless you are in the water with it.
- The Shocker can still perform its shock attack when frozen within a stasis bubble.
