DNA

Subnautica features a mechanic that allows the player to sample DNA from alien Life-Forms and transfuse that on himself.

To do so the player needs to sample the DNA using the Tool called Transfuser. While the Transfuser is still disabled in current builds, it is spawnable by Console Commands .

Currently only one DNA perk can be transfused. There is no buff duration or cool down restriction.

The following traits appear to be obtainable:

• Speed

• Air Bladder

• Inertialess

• Protection

• Jump Height

• Heat Resistance

• Friendlyness

• Sonar

• Growth
