Grand Reef

Template:Infobox Biome The great Grand Reef is the largest coral reef biome on this sub nautical planet. Grand Reef covers the South and Southwestern corner of the map, and offers a vast range of diving possibilities for the player.

Around seven fauna species living over the Grand Reef, including edible fauna such as Spadefish, Boomerang and Hoopfish. The are also healthy populations of some larger fauna species that can be seen, like the Bone Shark and Jellyray. In the future developers have hinted that Sea Treader will inhabit the plains of the Grand Reef.

Grand Reef is also known for its many luminous Floating Pods along with Membrane Trees. They are found almost everywhere in the area with different types of resources covering the ground around the flora. While the most famous places to visit in Grand Reef is the cave, Deep Grand Reef and the thermal vent area called "smokers", which are located in the Southwest corner of the map.

However the most common harvesting node to find there are Basalt Chunks. The depth range can variate from around 40m to 400m. Some parts of Grand Reef reach almost up to the surface, located along the length of Sparse Reef biome.
