Some of these are located within Alien Arch Caches, which are caverns containing the Alien Arches. Only one of these caches contains a Master Arch, while the other five contain Slave Arches. The player is able to walk on the seafloor when inside these caches.

Arch Types

Master

The Master Arches have pedestals and must be powered using an Ion Cube. They are connected to a Slave Alien Arch.

<tabber> Mountain Island Cache= This Alien Cache is found in a small cave near the top of the Mountain Island. The cave houses several clusters of Pink Caps and Speckled Rattlers. This Alien Arch Cache is the only one to have a Master Arch as opposed to a Slave Arch.

Slave

The Slave Alien Arches do not have pedestals, and their corresponding Master Alien Arches must be activated before these gates can be used.

<tabber> Bulb Zone Cache= This Alien Cache is found in a drop off beside the border with the Crash Zone in the Bulb Zone. It features many stalagmites and stalagtites within.

|-| Crag Field Cache= It is located in the deeper areas of the Crag Field, and is notably larger than the other caches. It features many stalactites on the ceiling, with paths and trenches along them. Pink Caps and Speckled Rattlers can be found scattered along the whole Alien Cache. Cave Crawlers are present within this Alien Cache.

|-| Floating Island Cache= This Alien Cache is found in a large cave within the Floating Island. The Alien Cache houses Speckled Rattlers and Pink Caps and various unnamed flora. It also has two entrances, the first is found in a small heap on the surface of the island while the other is found on a small ledge just above the lake in the middle of the island.

|-| Ghost Forest Cache= This Alien Cache is located within the Ghost Forest, near the border with the Northern Blood Kelp Zone. Sometimes, the juvenile Ghost Leviathan in the area can wander close to the entrance. It contains Precursor Lamps, Ghost Roots, a single large Ghost Tree and two green brine pools. At the back of the Cache is the Alien Arch, which links to the Primary Containment Facility.

|-| Mushroom Forest Cache= It is found in a small cave in a trench near the outskirts of the forest, located south from the Giant Tree Mushroom. It features many stalactites on the ceiling and various types of unnamed Flora.
