The stock Swim Speed of the player (without any inventory or fins) is ~5.7 meters per second. Swim speed can be modified with fins crafted by the player using the fabricator or workbench. Fins add ~16% speed, whilst Ultra Glide Fins add ~33%. Extra Inventory can slow the player down.
