It cuts damage by 50%, increases heat resistance from fifty degrees to seventy degrees and deflects Tiger Plant spikes, whilst reducing swim speed by 0.95 m/s. It can be crafted using the Fabricator. The fragments can be found in Wrecks and around the Mountains. The Reinforced Dive Suit must be placed in the body slot of the paperdoll UI to take effect. When not worn it takes up four spaces in the inventory.

Trivia

• This suit's protection from heat up to 70 degrees is still not enough to fully protect players getting close to lava in the Inactive Lava Zone and Active Lava Zone, where the temperatures can go to upwards of 90 degrees.
• The Reinforced Dive Suit was intended to have gloves upon implementation, however, the gloves were forgotten, only being added in the Prison Update of 2017.
