Template:Class 2 Fauna The Spine Eel is an in-development aggressive life form belonging to the fauna category.
Appearance
The Spine Eel has a thin, elongated body with many protrusions coming from both the top and bottom, a spine-like structure is visible within. The head is fleshy pink in color, featuring two round, yellow eyes, a large maw with many visible sharp teeth, and four tendrils trailing behind its head.
The majority of the Spine Eel's body, along with the organs, is transparent, emitting a faint white bioluminescent glow.
Behavior
The Spine Eel will lash out its tendrils to when attacking, and then pull them back. It will use its tendrils to pull in the prey, and then proceed to mow it down using its large maw.
The Spine Eel will let out ghastly hisses and snarls should anything get too close.

- In early development, the Spine Eel used the AI and sounds of the Bone Shark.
- Intriguingly, the Spine Eel's eyes, despite being yellow in color during the day, emit a reddish glow during the night.
