It can be planted in Interior Growbeds that can be placed inside Seabases and Cyclops. After a certain amount of time (12 minutes) , the planted Lantern Fruit will grow into a Lantern Tree, which will produce more Lantern Fruits.  Lantern Fruits can be placed in Bioreactors, providing the player with 65 ENERGY    Due to the fact that Lantern Trees produce a lot of Lantern Fruits, the Lantern Fruit can be used as a versatile food source and a reliable source of fuel for the Bioreactor.
