Ion Cube (Subnautica)

Ion Crystals are an in-development material used by the Precursor race. They seem to power certain precursor devices, precursor teleporters will only function once an Ion Crystal has been inserted, Ion Crystals will be found in the Precursor Ground-To-Air Weapon System, the Precursor Thermal Power Generator and many will be found in the Primary Research Facility.

Ion Crystals can spawn as a large resource deposit.
