Lithium is a raw material that looks like a smaller, purple/pink quartz crystal. As such, it may be hard to spot due to its size. It can also be found in shale chunks.
Its main use is to create the high strength Lithium/Titanium alloy known as Plasteel.
Lithium is one of a few resources that can be found in a larger form, these give many of its respective resource. they are only obtainable by drilling with the Exosuit.
Locations
- In the Mushroom Forest biome, the majority of Lithium can be found near Coral Tree structures or on their "bark".
- In the Jelly Shroom Caves, Lithium can be found inside and around the large Jelly Shrooms and in shale deposits, albeit rarely.
- On the Floater Island, Lithium can be found on the beach, amongst the trees, on its substructure, and sometimes also just above to the waterline at its rocky edges.
- In the Grassy Plateaus, Lithium can be found near the cave openings.
- In the Sparse Reef and Dunes biomes, Lithium can be found around on the seabed.
- In the Lava Caves and Koosh Zone, Lithium can be found inside shale chunks.
- In the Mountains and Mountain Range Caves, Lithium can be found as crystal.
- Near the border of the Crash Zone, Lithium can be found on the border walls as a crystal.
