Degasi Seabases

There are numerous Abandoned Seabases, mostly found in poor conditions.

Evidence from found PDAs indicates the bases were built by survivors of the Degasi, which came to Planet 4546B before the Aurora.

The main benefit to finding Abandoned Seabases is the ability to scan various Seabase components that can't be found elsewhere. The player can also find several Data Downloads inside all of the Abandoned Seabases, and sometimes in the surrounding area. They are most commonly found on desks, in lockers, and on the floor.

It is recommended that the user has a Stasis Rifle, Propulsion Cannon, or a Repulsion Cannon on hand while exploring, as hostile Fauna are often found near the Abandoned Seabases. Specifically, Cave Crawlers are found on Floater Island where three of the bases are found, while Crab Snakes and Biters patrol the Jelly Shroom Caves where the remaining base is found (and the base itself is filled with Drooping Stingers)

Trivia

• The abandoned logbooks from survivors can be found in the Abandoned Seabases.
• There are currently three Abandoned Seabases found on the Floater Island, two of which contain supply crates and two of which contain planters.
• A large farm can be found far away from the other Seabases on the island, consisting of six planters total.
• One of the Abandoned Seabases on the Floater Island has a climbable ladder, but the bulkheads are rusted in place.
