Fragments (Subnautica)

Fragments are essentially parts of supplies and equipment from the larger ship that have crashed into the sea. The player needs to collect these to craft higher tech equipment and vessels, such as the Seamoth and Stasis Rifle.

As of build 12012 of pre-Alpha, the Fragments all look the same and function in the same way as well.

Some of them are found in different places than other.

As of now, the Stasis Rifle Fragments are usually found in the kelp forest areas, and Seamoth Fragments in caves with many hostile flora and fauna to challenge the player.

As of Update 10 another fragment has been found. The Exosuit Fragment can be found in the Mushroom Forest Biome.

The Exosuit Fragment is the newest addition to the fragment family. Found in the Mushroom Forest.
