Currently, the Floating Stones serve only as decorations and are uninteractable.
Appearance
The Floating Stones resemble a suspended blue orb, with a blue-green pattern on it. It is caught up in a maroon colored net of what appear to be its roots. This also suggests that the orb is floating.
They seem to emit bright a blue bioluminescent glow.
Future plans
According to the developers[1], in the future builds, they may explode if the player comes too close.
