Biter

Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Biter Fish is a Life Form that can be found around the Grassy Plateaus, Mountains, Mountain Island, in the Mountain Range Caves, and Jelly Shroom Caves.

The Biter Fish is an extremely fast fish that protects its territory. It will attack without hesitation if the player gets too close. Each bite takes 7% of the player's health. Biter Fish can attack in shoals or there may only be just one.

They can also be spawned in using the Debug Console Command "Spawn Biter".

Appearance

The Biter Fish is a small fish that strongly resembles a tadpole. It has two blue eyes on each side of its head, and a small mouth full of sharp yellow teeth. The Biter Fish has no pectoral fins, possessing only dorsal and tail fins. Its body is red on the dorsal side with a light blue underbelly. Black stripes run along the top. It also has a short Bioluminescent lure on its forehead, which is presumably used to draw in prey.

Trivia

• There is a subspecies of the Biter Fish called the Blood Biter that lives in the Blood Kelp Zone and the Blood Kelp Caves.
