Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Blood Crawler is a Aggressive Life Form and a subspecies of the Cave Crawler that can be located mainly in the Blood Kelp Caves.

Appearance

The Blood Crawler is a grey colored four-legged crustacean. It is much larger than its relative, the Cave Crawler. Its legs are long and transition from grey to a pale green color with red tips. The legs are also covered with inward facing spikes. It has a large, Bioluminescent red eye with a blue pupil covering most of the top of its body. Purple markings surround the eye. It also has four smaller red eyes towards its front, which lack pupils. The Blood Crawler has two mandibles on the front of its body, which are presumably used for feeding.

Behavior

Blood Crawlers move in groups, typically falling from the "ceiling" of the Blood Kelp Caves and are aggressive towards the player, jumping towards and damaging the player when approached. Blood Crawlers are also able to climb onto the walls and ceilings of caves.
