Moonpool (Subnautica)

The Moon Pool is a Seabase module. It is constructed with the Builder and its main function is the docking and undocking of the Seamoth.

A power source is needed to be able to dock the Seamoth. The Seamoth will also be charged from the base's Energy if in Survival Mode or Hardcore Mode.

The Moon Pool also allows the player to access their base via two ladders on either end.

The Moon Pool in a recent update received a new modification, which can be placed on the walls of the Moon Pool, much like the windows. This modification is called the "SeaMoth Upgrade Console". This is used to change the colour and put text on the side of your seamoth.

Expansion

• Hatches can be placed on the side-panels.
• Windows can be placed on the side-panels.
• Reinforcements can be placed on the side-panels.
• The Moon Pool can be expanded with other modules from its six side-panels.
• The Seamoth Upgrade Console can only be constructed in the Moon Pool.
