The Torgal Corporation was a small - when compared to Alterra - Mongolian corporation owned by Paul Torgal, with his son, Bart Torgal, being the heir. A decade before the events of Subnautica and the crash of the Aurora, the Mongolian Vessel, the Degasi, was hit by the Quarantine Enforcement Platform which caused it to crash into the ocean of Planet 4546B. Only three of the six crew members survived: Paul, Bart, and Marguerit Maida. Prior to the Degasi crashing, the Torgal Corporation made an announcement to construct a new phasegate utilizing Torgal materials. These plans were put on to hold after the Degasi disappeared.

The Torgal Corporation is a clan-corps of the Mongolian Independent States.

The current status of the Torgal Corporation after the disappearance of their CEO is unknown.
