</group> </infobox> The Sea Monkey is a small sized Fauna species in Subnautica: Below Zero.

Appearance

The Sea Monkey is predominantly a light purple in color, with a larger blue stripe going down from it's head to it's forearm, and a smaller yellow stripe stretching down to it's tail. It has two forearms, each equipped with two finger-like appendages, with suction-like fingertips. The arms themselves are stubby. The underside is a pale gray, and two fins adorn the top and bottom half of the Sea Monkey's tail, along with a smaller fin on the top of the midsection. Two slits, possibly gills, are present on the chest and lower flank of the creature. The head appears similar to that of the Pinnicarid, protrusions are found on the bottom jaw, colored purple and tipped with blue. Adorning the top of the head is a large crest, which appears to be able to fold in and out according to the Concept Art. The crest itself is split into four parts, distinctly blue with white surrounding the edges, albeit somewhat unevenly.
