At some point in the story, Robin Goodall may have to use a Bioscanner to take a sample from this leviathan. The leviathan's placeholder model can currently be hit with a knife to acquire a Kharaa Sample.

Age

The Leviathan specimen's species and age is currently unknown, but to be infected with Kharaa the individual creature must have been alive any time between 1000 years ago and now.
