Supply Crate (Subnautica)
Template:Infobox itemSupply Crates are containers dropped during the crash landing of the Aurora that contain random high-level items, including crafted items. Supply Crates are currently the only way to obtain a signal tool without using the debug console. One of the edges of the Supply Crate features an electronic display that reads "Container" on it.
There are two types of Supply Crates.
Large Variant
The large variant of the Supply Crate supports 5x5 item slots, which is a total of 25 slots. It is very light-weight and can easily be pushed around in the water.
Large Supply Crates generally spawn close to the Aurora, from the Koosh Zone at its front to the Safe Shallows at its back. Most of them spawn in the radiated area, though, which is inaccessible without a radiation suit.
The explosion of the Aurora reveals additional Supply Crates around mid-ship.
Small Variant
The small variant of the Supply Crate does not have any item slots. Instead, activating it will merely open its lid, revealing a single item inside.
Small Supply Crates generally spawn on the remains of the ruptured front of the Aurora after she has exploded, or inside wreckage found near the Aurora. They can contain Nutrient Blocks, Disinfected Water, First Aid Kits, Signals, Batteries, Power Cells, or nothing.
The player has to be wary of the Cave Crawlers that are littering the area.
