Template:Class 2 FaunaThe Ghost Leviathan is an in-development life form belonging to the fauna category that may be added in future updates of Subnautica. It is also currently the second largest life form in the game behind the Sea Emperor Leviathan.

Appearance

The Ghost Leviathan has a transparent outer covering, over a blue inner body which features many dark blue stripes, four yellow, bioluminescent eyes, six small fins on the torso section, a small, decorative sail sits on top of the head, and two long structures protruding from either side of its head which bear similarities to the blades of a hammerhead shark. It has a rectangular mouth, and a long body that tapers to a point. Its luminescent colours change depending on which biome it is in.

Future Plans

The Ghost Leviathan can currently only be spawned by console commands, but may be fully implemented after Version 1.0.
- The Ghost Leviathan will likely be within the void, as a means to prevent players from going off the map.^[1]
