Compass (Subnautica)

The compass is a basic navigational device with cardinal direction indicators.  

Due to its ability to tell the player where they are looking, it can be used for:  

  • Keeping track of salvaged areas  
  • Navigation with SeaGlide, Seamoth, and Cyclops 
  • Creation of maps (out of game)

  • The compass takes up one (1) slot in player inventory.

  • The compass shows at the top middle of the screen, under the depth meter.
