Spinefish (Subnautica)

Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Spinefish is a life form belonging to the Fauna category, a subspecies of the Hoopfish.

Like Hoopfishes, Spinefishes are cathemeral and easy to catch. Since the H2.0 update, they can be cooked.

In the future, the Spinefish may spawn in the Lost River.

Appearance

The Spinefish nearly ressembles a Hoopfish, with some notable differences.

It has an almost translucent body, with many vertical stripes running along, capable of emiting a bright neon green bioluminescence. It also features small red spots around its eyes and near its tail.

Its eyes are yellowish green in color, and its caudal fin emits a faint, red bioluminescent glow.
