Degasi

The Degasi was a mining ship that crashed on Planet 4546B around a decade prior to the events of Subnautica, in identical circumstances to the Aurora.

Three Crew members of the Degasi survived the crash, these three were Pal Torgal, his son, Bal Torgal, and Marguerit Maida, a hired mercenary.

Pal, Bal and Marguerit scrapped the Degasi in order to construct the Abandoned Seabase found on the Floater Island. They went on to build bases in the Jelly Shroom Caves and the Deep Grand Reef.

Pal Torgal

Age at time of disappearance: 79

Gender: Male

Information: Majority shareholder in the Torgaljin Corporation. Beneficiary of life extension technologies.

Bal Torgal

Age at time of disappearance: 19

Gender: Male

Information: Only child of Pal Torgal, heir to the Torgaljin Corporation. Beneficiary of cerebral implants. Kept the remaining Degasi crew alive after the crash.

Marguerit Maida

Age at time of dissapearance: 42

Gender: Female

Information: A mercenary hired to protect the Degasi in case of pirate attacks. She wanted to go deeper into the Mushroom Caves due to the Floater Island lacking resources to build.
