Template:Infobox item Supply Crates are containers dropped during the crash landing of the Aurora that contain a single random Item. These Supply Crates currently don't restore their contents after a user has successfully looted them, as is restated for both kinds of supply crates.

There are two types of Supply Crates, one of which is currently the only way to obtain a signal tool without using the debug console. One of the edges of the Supply Crate features an electronic display that reads "Container" on it.

The Supply Crate does not have any item slots. Instead, activating it opens its lid, revealing a single item inside.

Many Supply Crates spawn on the remains of the ruptured front of the Aurora after it has exploded, or inside wrecks found near the Aurora.

Other Supply Crates spawn close to the Aurora. Most of them spawn in the radiated area, though, which is inaccessible without a radiation suit.

Known crate types:

Small Supply Crate

Small Supply Crates are currently spawned around and inside the Aurora. They can be opened by hand. They do not restore their contents after being looted, in other words they don't reset.

Sealed Supply Crate

Sealed Supply Crates are presumed to be currently spawned inside the Aurora. They can only be opened with the Laser Cutter and can contain rare signals.

When aiming at a the Sealed Supply Crate with the Laser Cutter an indicator says "open percent: 0-100%" will appear which are similar to the one that appears on the welding tool are used to repair hull damages. Once the Sealed Supply Crate has been completed cut up the lid will open. These don't regain their contents after being emptied.

Future Plans

  • In the future, Supply Crates will sometimes have Flares inside of them.
  • According to Trello, there may be Floating Supply Crates in the future.
