The Player is the main protagonist of Subnautica. He survived the impact from the Aurora by escaping into Lifepod 5.

Appearance

The player is a young, fit man with dark eyes and hair. He has a long face, pronounced features, and blue streaks in his hair.

The player appears to have a good degree of stamina, able to swim for long distances and holding his breath for long periods of time.

Behaviour

The player does not typically speak, but can be heard gasping for air if he stays under for too long, and letting out shrieks of pain if he is attacked.
