The Dive Reel is a tool used for back tracking during cave exploration.
It is crafted using the fabricator.
One thing many people mistake the Dive Reel for is a grappinling like mechinism, thinking they will be able to zoom across the map. This does not occur in the game, as it is purely a rope for back tracking through caves, long distances, etc.
Usage
- Use RMB to fix the reel's anchor to the ground
- Swim (either with it equipped or not)
- Place the other end down with RMB (Right Mouse Button) or
- Swim back to anchor and retrieve it (must have the reel equipped)
